It is heavy, but, as with most of Camp Chef's stuff, it is very, very durable. This griddle is perfect for the camper or excursionist who doesn't need to carry his cooking equipment far from his vehicle, and who regularly cooks for many people. It has a grease gutter and drain, and cleans easily. This griddle is specifically designed for use with a two-burner stove, but also works great on a three-burner stove. We use it on a three-burner, and keep a Dutch Oven on the spare burner to put cooked food in and keep it warm. The surface area of this griddle is very large, and so can handle cooking for many people at a time. I have used two over the years to cook for Boy Scouts and now for a Venture Crew. I use the griddle on a two burner stove and then have a separate single burner also going. You can cook any meal for a large group such as pancakes or french toast on the griddle while cooking sausage or hash browns on the single burner.
