First one had a bad valve, so I exchanged it. Second one had 2 broken legs, so I exchanged that. Third one lasted one camping trip before a crack started to show in the frame...threw it away once I got home. But something steel, not this Chinese cast iron crap metal... 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful ![]() Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?) This review is from: Sportsman DBCIS Double Burner Outdoor Cast Iron Propane Stove (Lawn & Patio) I am not happy with the way Amazon took care of my complaint. First of all I would like a phone number to talk to someone direct and not by email. I received this item and assembled it and when I went to test it I noticed one of the gas control knobs was broke. I emailed Amazon right away and told them I only need the knob for the unit, but the first thing they did was to send me out another unit with freight charges and told me to send the other unit back which would cost me another $10.to ship it UPS. I called the company that made the unit and they said they would send me a part out at no charge asap. Come on Amazon listen before you take the easy was out.Not happy. |

My stove not only fits, but has room to fit the Griddle that fits the Grill Stove models listed. Nice heavy zipper, thickly padded vinyl, padded handles (stove + 2 bottles of fuel + griddle = not light). Good product. 6 of 6 people found the following review helpful ![]() Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?) This review is from: Coleman Grill and Grill-Stove Carry Case (Sports) I read the reviews that said the case didn't fit properly. I suspect Coleman mixed them up at the factory. Mine fits with room to spare. I had previously ordered the wrong model, and it was extremely tight. |
In a world that expects liquid-fuel stoves to have one setting (hot), the DragonFly stands out. Since its debut in 1998, it has won numerous awards for its innovative dual-valve design, which offers an unrivaled range of continuous and immediate flame control. Simmer a delicate sauce over a candle flame or melt snow quickly over a blowtorch with a twist of the flame adjuster. The continued popularity and performance of the DragonFly can be attributed to the many features invented by MSR.
The Dragonfly liquid-fuel camp stove takes precision-simmering performance and puts it in a chassis that's built to handle a variety of fuels and the frequent use dished-out by global vagabonds. Tough and stable, it excels in institutional and guide service settings. Its dual-valve design gives you the flame control you need for evenly heating large pots (up to 9-inch maximum diameter) of crowd-pleasing gruel. Of course, when the need arises to melt snow and brew-up fast, the DragonFly goes from zero to searing at the twist of a knob. The package includes a fuel pump, windscreen, heat reflector, small-parts kit, instructions, and stuff sack. (Fuel bottle not included.)

Here is a run down on my experience and impressions of the stove:Performance - As with most other decent stoves, this one can boil water quickly, so that's not news. What it does do, however, that many do not is take the flame down to the lowest simmer. This is a great feature if you are doing some serious cooking that requires precise flame control. I've found the flame spread on this stove to be relatively narrow, so it's a good thing you can dial the flame down so as not to completely scorch what you are heating. The stove is extremely stable, with pot supports that can handle larger size pots and pans. It has a self-cleaning jet that has worked flawlessly when using standard white gas, and has been very reliable. Size - It folds up pretty small and it is light enough, but it's still larger in these... It has a very wide range - you can simmer without scorching thick stews or boil 4L of water in no time flat. Be aware however, that it can melt a hole in the wind screen or heat defuser just as easily. Or scorch the bottom of your pots about as fast - I've two to clean up at the moment.Find the absolute lowest simmer setting right out of the box - you'll want to use it most of the time. When it's time to boil water crank it up loud. It's a fuel miser compared to the WhisperLite. The flexible hose is still short, stiff and stupid like other MSR stoves. Stuff sack is too small for what we travel with. |
